One of the ways we keep memberships and repair services priced so affordably is by operating with portable tents and seasonal windshield techs.
If we operated permanent shops across Canada, our overhead costs (and then our prices) would be much, much higher.
The trade-off is that for 3-4 months during the winter, our tents close down.
This temporary pause in service is factored into our repair plan pricing.
If we operated tents year-round in a sunnier climate, membership fees would be higher.
What happens when I get a rock chip or a crack in December with all that gravel on the road?
You have these options:
1. Place a Chipsaver sticker on the chip immediately to prevent moisture from seeping in and cracking out.
2. If it’s close to March or April you might be able to wait a couple weeks for the tents to open back up and get it fixed.
3. Visit decorepair.com
Click on the Locations tab to see if any tents or permanent locations are open near you -- if you find one, head over for your repair.
Click on the Mobile tab to request a Mobile Repair Service to come to you.
Our Mobile services are very limited across Canada due to the availability of seasonal techs. (But, you might find yourself in luck!)
If you can’t wait until the DECO tents open, please visit another glass repair shop.
Our Repair Plan is priced to reflect our temporary pause in service. So no need to feel shy about using “one of the other guys.” It’s important you protect the integrity of your windshield.
