The black/green shiny pocket of air in your windshield is what causes chips to spread across the windshield. We start our repair by drilling into the windshield, then filling in the pocket with high quality acrylic acid. This bonds the glass back together, restoring the integrity of the windshield. We finish the repair by sealing with a higher touchness resin to secure the surface of the chip. Note that some scarring is normal.
